While CDS encompasses a wide range of applications—from risk prediction and diagnostic assistance to treatment recommendations and guideline adherence—this particular use case focuses on a CDS solution powered by a large language model (LLM) using a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approach. The system integrates with curated medical content to deliver rapid, context-aware clinical insights. When a clinician queries a medical topic, the AI generates a personalized response presented alongside conventional search results, enhancing point-of-care decision-making and reducing time spent sifting through reference materials.
